This is my first attempt with Pastel Pencils .. and likely my last! (too messy).Dodger was 18 years old when he died recently, and he was the very much loved cat of my friends Ken, Irene and their daughters Julia and Helen.
Anyone who has lost a pet will understand how they are feeling ... I certainly do. If any of my children look in here, I am sure they will think this is our Charlie Fat Cat!

I share your dislike of pastels Ingrid, but you've done a good job with them here. The fur is very convincing and the eyes are good too.
