Hi Frank ... The loch I go to always has lots of swans, geese and ducks .... oh and ravens! There was only this one duck and as you say, no lady! I'm so pleased you like them/it... lol Thank you!! :o)
Well hello from one scot to another and thank you for foloowing my blog I will also be following yours love the ducks. Today I bought some duck eggs I so enjoy them. So you live near the ochils. I lived there for 6 years not all that long ago. Thank you again
Great to see you again Sandra ... and thank you! I am heading out shortly with my camera, it is a beautiful afternoon here. Hopefully I will get more than one duck! :o)
Hello Ralph and welcome to my blog, it's nice to have a fellow Scot here. I love the Ochils and the Glen Devon area, isn't it beautiful ... I am delighted you like my ducks, hope to see you here again!
Hello Ingrid, Thank you for following me! When I saw the first glimpse of your ducks I gasped at how lovely they are-you surely ARE a painter. I've become a 'follower' so I can keep up with all your work. Oh Scotland is the most beautiful place! I went years ago and I have never forgotten how breathtaking it is.
Thank you Jane for your lovely comments! Last night I went out with my camera and caught five male ducks with one female .. it was fun to watch! I caught lots of geese, and some gorgeous yellow tulips. It makes me so happy Jane when people come to Scotland and see how beautiful it is. I do hope you will come again, to Scotland ... and my blog! :->
How nice of you to hop 'across the pond Carol. I really enjoyed the wander through your blog, in fact this past few days I have wandered through many blogs. I didn't realise there were so many people out there who are as passionate about art as I am. Who cannot leave the house without a camera in their hand! People who find the start of each new day exciting ... and people like yourself Carol who can take anything and make something beautiful from it. Tomorrow I am going to put lemon slices on my chicken pieces before I pop them in the oven, and I have a lovely little china cup that would take a few spring flowers from the garden. Many thanks to all of you who have stopped by .. I hope to get to know you all a whole lot more!
Hi Ingrid, thanks for visiting my blog. I love your duck(s) and your sheep from the day before. Your water colours have a wonderful delicate touch to them. I'll be back to see more.
Nice to see you Bonnie Heather ... you sound so Scottish! Thank you for your lovely comments. As my good friend Keith will tell you, I started off thinking I would be a landscape painter, animals were the furthest things from my mind. This journey we are on has some wonderful twists and turns....
Thank you so much Cathy, I very much appreciate your comments. I too used to work with children, I did so for many years. I loved your story about the ice cream ... I used to sneak through to the kitchen for plain bread sandwiches with treacle. My Mother always knew I had taken them, as I hid them under my pillow and the bedding would be covered in treacle! I love your art!
Hi Ingrid: thank you for your lovely comment and i am glad you like it. I like to take this opportunity to tell you how much i enjoyed looking at some of your work, truely wonderful. take care Ben

Well we wouldn't have known it was two ducks if you hadn't given the game away, though you didn't see a female!
Another lovely painting - smashing.

Hi Ingrid, I love your profile, sounds similar to mine.
Your paintings are just lovely. Your colors are true to the spirit of watercolor, fluid and beautiful.
