Sheep and lambs ...

Whilst driving home from Newcastle this trio stopped to stare at us when we drew up along side them ... I love Spring!

You know one day whilst on our way to John o Groats, we were traveling towards Inverness and I had to do a double take - I said to my Husband who was driving 'Did my eyes deceive me or did we just drive by a field of pink and yellow sheep?' He reversed back and sure enough every one of the sheep was either baby pink or pale lemon yellow! The following year we returned for a trip to Scotland, took the same route and the pink and yellow sheep were still there! They looked like a herd of Candy-floss! Somebody told us that the farmer had done it as a joke. I must admit, it made us laugh! What a great, fun sketch!

Would that be on the M8 Sandra? There are dyed sheep there, usually in red, green and yellow. The sheep are right by the motorway and the farmer does it as a 'talking point'.

No, this was off a long, narrow winding road. I can't remember exactly where. I was quite amused! Next time I am on the M8 I will keep my eyes open for the red and green ones!
