Hi Ingrid. My Mum was talking to me about your last sheep post when she came over last - She saw it through my own blog and really liked it. I think they are lovely too!
Hi Sandra .. good to see you! When I did the sheep lined with pen I liked it, but prefer this version ... it's softer! Please thank Mom for stopping by, I hope I will see her here again soon! tc
This is fantastic. Thank you for commenting on my blog, and following. Your support is wonderful. The have to say i LOVE your Egret painting..hmmm I have been wanting to paint the Heron Sumi-e style for sometime now.Cheers
Thank you Melanie, the heron was a quickie I did when we returned from Seaworld. I couldn't wait to get him down on paper. One of these paintings where you don't think, you just do!Great to see you!
Hello Ingrid. I agree with you about this one being softer - it suits the subject.
It is a lovely painting ... those black face sheep are so cute ...I saw them when I went to Scotland many years ago.
I love your watercolours. Very delicate. Once when me and some of my classmates were frustrated with our results our teacher said "for every painting in a gallery you'll find dozens back at the studio that were not successful. It's part of the process." I try to remember this when I'm frustrated and then I don't feel so alone.I'll enjoy walking along side you from time to time to enjoy the views of Scotland.
Ingrid,Just beautiful. I cannot paint but I see it in my mind. I am using the computer to make some of my art happen. You are so blessed to be able to paint with your hands and heart.Carol
Once again a great capture I love how your love of life and nature pours out of your work
This is lovely Ingrid, I love the way the colours are all soft and runny, ending at a very sharp edge.
Hi Keith .. great to see you! Hope life is good. I like the softer effect, glad you do too. Hope to catch up with you soon! Nice to see you Alice, and I am glad you like my painting, thanks for stopping by. Welcome Artscapes .. I have dozens of paintings that are rubbish! I know it takes the practice on them that eventually leads to a successful painting. I love my own company and never feel lonely. I do not like the thought of anyone feeling alone, so please come here anytime you feel the need, and I will enjoy your company on this journey. Carol .. wether from the computer or with a brush, our art is our way of expressing our feelings. You speak from the heart, it is there in your every word ...Ralph, I hope you are sharing this gorgeous evening. I am looking out at the most beautiful blue sky ... Thanks for your lovely comments and your encouragement. Hi Frank ... I was painting somw flowers today which were all hard edges. I then gave myself a shake and introduced the water, lots of it, and what a difference. Good to see you! Thank you 'all' you have made my day!
