Hi Ingrid. I had commented on Ella but I think it got lost in cyberspace somewhere! I love the expression on Ella's face, a lovely watercolour indeed. You're brave painting something with only two legs but this is a great painting too. You've really captured the look of Chaplin with his sad, hapless clown face!
I'm so sorry Michael, your super comment on Ella got lost in my Inbox. I'm delighted you like 'Ella' and 'Chaplin' ... thank you.:) I really enjoyed doing this painting.
Ingrid how wonderful is this of Chaplin. I think you captured him as a lot of us remember him. Your work is just awesome. Please be Blogazine guest on my site sometime so my friends can enjoy your art as I do Love Maggie grandmayellowhair@gmail.com
Hi Ingrid. Your artwork is so good that I had to look at more. I hope to enter something in one of the projects at JW s site but it won't come close to what you do. It looks like you are one busy lady too. Your picture reminds me of Paula Deen from the USA Food Network show...blond and beautiful like you. See you later girl. Marcia aka trixibelle
Forgive me for taking so long to come back to this. I have felt quite overwhelmed by all your wonderful comments and really didn't know what to say. 'thank you' doesn't seem enough, yet I really do thank you 'all' so very sincerely. BJ ... if I have captured the soul of my subject then I have done everything I set out to do. Thank you. :) Pat ... it was that sad forlorn stance that attracted me to Chaplin. I never stopped to think that I don't 'do' figures! Thanks Pat. :) Keith ... thank you for your friendship. Your comments always make me feel I have taken a few steps on this journey! :) Maria Jose ... it took me quite a while to translate your very kind comments ... thank you! :) Maggie .. I looked but have no idea how to become a Blogazine guest, but I would love to. Thanks for your support! :) Marcia ... great to see you here and many thanks for the lovely things you say. I'm off to look up Paula Deen. :)

Wow! You have captured the sadness of the clown in your rendition of Chaplin. Bravo! xx
It doesn't seem to matter how many legs there are Ingrid, you still manage to get plenty of feeling.
Te ha quedado precioso. Animo y sigue campeona!!!!
